Hello , I have been a customer of the Fireplace Centre for more than 20 years . I have purchased BBQs and accessories with great satisfation on the knowledge and curtious attention from the staff .
Recently we purchased a Napoleon furnace for our house as our old one was beyond repair . We have been extremely happy with the new furnace as the house is warm and our gas and electric bills have decreased .
I have recommended the company to family and freinds and will continue to do so .

Despite it being out of season (ie, the yard is closed for winter), my phone call was quickly answered (after 6pm!) and within 24 hrs my gorgeous chiminiea was delivered (for free). Brian (owner) was very professional, generous, polite, informative and exceedingly helpful. The price and service was beyone exceptional.

Installation day came :
Crew boss started argument with carpenter finishing up cantilever for gas ofp unit which was done correctly.
- crew installed wrong gas fireplace style of unit , replaced with correct unit .
Crew also forgot spray foam to seal gas lines on exterior of cantilever , I gave them acan I had and thety never offered to pay me for the can .
Metal trim around insert poorly made with crooked joints and painted poorly , on subsequent visit techie used spray paint with a glossier finish than original finish - result is a ridiculous stripe finish of flat and semi gloss paint .
When we advised we weren't happy with this trim the manager (Dave ) stated we only paid $232 for the trimso we couldn't expect quality workmanship !
Their solution is to replace the crooked trim piece and re- paint the trim with spray paint again but the crew boss who painted it in the first place staed he didn't think he could get it off due to silicon caulk being applied at the time of instalation .

Would not recommend these folks for any job to anyone !

We love the mantel Tartaruga designed for us. The work was done on schedule with excellent liasion with the installer and is really beautiful. Highly recommended.

Great service, on time, senior discounts, certified and bonded and insured, registered contractor, fireplace repair specialist and installation.

A designer referred us to a Town & Country fireplace dealer downtown, but the quote seemed a bit pricey. So we emailed Marsh's and they called the next day and came out to confirm the fireplace could be installed and that the gas line was accessible. Marsh's quoted $2,000 less than the other quote we had for the full package (fireplace, logset, accessories and installation). The service from the team was excellent, they know their stuff and they were really pleasant to deal with. So pleased, we bought a second one for the basement.

Paid $2,000 for a fireplace that worked 5 times. Called all winter and they never came to repair. Buyer Beware

These units where built by tweed steel works in tweed ontario up to about the time free trade came in ...approx 15 _20 years ago?? . they were used extensively in the local area.
Time has shown a feature that needs to be looked at when purchasing a home with one bricked in place.The metal smoke shelf above the firebox is susceptible to thinning and rust through caused by rain water running down the clay flue tile and resting on the steel smoke shelf
polentially allowing flue smoke to enter the external wall of the unit which allows it to flow into the room by way of the heating feature of the unit. A roof cap may allow this process to be slowed.
so have this inspected by getting a mirror and light up above the damper so you can look down on top of the smoke shelf. get your hand up in there along with small hammer to tap along the top of the shelf ...this will allow the flakes of rust to "pop"up so you can vacume them up with your vacume cleaner to reveal any rust through spots Over the years we have found one to be rusted and another to be thinning. Neither had rain caps on the flue tile.

Sales reps talk a good talk.
But, once you've signed the contract, don't deliver.
Don't make the same mistake I did.

  Interesting EN Blue doesn't sell fireplaces.

I was recommended to them by a partner in my office. The process took a little while but the design and completed work they did is outstanding! I could not be happier with the results. I would definitely recommend them. Great people to work with.

I bought my Opus see-through fireplace from Supreme Fireplaces last year and couldn't have been happier! The heat output is phenomenal and I've already saved so much on my heating bills. I installed it between the living room and the dining room and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend Supreme Fireplace products!

walked into this store and walked out again, I think they cleaned it in 1974 but since then its gone downhill. Not a place that I would buy fireplace if I was putting it anywhere other than my garden shed

My wife and I visited numerous fireplace stores in edmonton and with the exception of a couple, all of them look like pawn shops and second hand stores. Then we went to the Wood and Energy store and what a difference !. Unreal showroom, clean, great people, my sales person was knowledgeable and friendly and the installers who came out to do the work were so kind and did such a good job I wish I had a bigger house so I could buy another fireplace. A really great experience
