I had my gas fireplace inspected and serviced by Impressive Climate Control's gas technician. Since we moved into the new home I wanted to make sure it is safe to be used. Their technician was very courteous, careful and clean while working. He recommended to apply fresh paint and dress up the fireplace with new embers, and boy was I happy at the end. The fireplace now looks great, from a BBQ flame which it originally had.

These guys and his crew were fantastic. These guys was through, patient, and incredibly responsive to my questions, even over the weekend. The yard and dog pen came out beautifully and on budget. I bought mine in Sept 2015. After repeat visits to "fix" the issues, (at least 5 since installation in Nov 2015...maybe 6), this is what I'm left with: visible seams in the mantel......but then no mantel, since the discoloured one was removed (it turned yellow after less than 5 days of installation), white spray paint on the unit itself, the bottom coming out of the unit due to a gap created when shimming, and my favourite - the graffiti-like black spray paint on the front of the fireplace, which was the "fix" to cover the white spray paint. Who wouldn't want this piece of art in their living room? (Couldn't he have at least done a fancy design?)
I have photos that speak for themselves (but unable to upload for some reason), in terms of the "quality" work provided by The Fireplace Centre. Not to mention the "quality" customer service they've provided, since they have all my money and I have an exposed, damaged fireplace. Awesome!
Along with the largest selection of gas fireplaces and wood stoves they can handle every aspect of the installation. Very knowledgeable! they were able to foresee more than one hic-cup in my plan.
In retrospect, I feel this company dishonestly convinced us to buy a new air conditioner last year. This year, it was working well before a routine service, and after they serviced it, it is no longer working! Their communication with customers is very poor, and there is no punctuality with appointments (e.g. they said they would come between 9 and 11am, and show up at 1pm with no explanation!). Beyond these issues, I don't think some of the technicians know what they are doing. I would recommend you use another company as my experience was very stressful and disappointing.
Summer is almost here and I shopped around for a new BBQ and these guys had the best to offer! I was told to go to one of their competitors but honestly the service is great and the BBQs look fantastic! I was helped by Dave, he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will definitely go back!
The people that were good are no longer there. Not the same company. Renovation looks better but people are clueless.

I recently had a new Comfortmaker ET96 furnace installed in my home by Rick Menard Heating & Cooling and I was very pleased with the whole experience. The sales rep (Pierre) was friendly and informative without too much ‘hard sell’ and he followed up appropriately as the whole process progressed. The install team (Mike and Adrien) were prompt, pleasant and professional. My house presented some challenges in terms of installing the exhaust but they were able to resolve it to the satisfaction of both of us. When the job was completed the new system and how it works was explained to me and I was given the opportunity to ask any questions I might have. And when they left my basement was tidier than when they’d arrived! Likewise, the admin end of things (billing and rebate application) was prompt and professional (Stephanie). I have no hesitation in recommending Rick Menard Heating & Cooling to any future clients.

owner Rose Gneo and her assistant Tiffany offer horrible customer service. Does not know about product installation only wants to collect her money and run. left a hole in a new brick wall and didn't see a problem with that. Installer used electrical tape on the outside pipe, and again Rose thought that was fine . Refused to take ownership for her error and offered no compensation. Would never recommend Marquis Fireplace to anyone
I purchased an electric fireplace with the clear understanding that I would require installation also. The technician who came to install had some difficulty and in spite of spending considerable time was not successful in slotting the unit neatly and he left promising that he would inform the office and they would get back to me and that they will send another expert technician. Meanwhile, the day the technician came the company used my credit card (apparently they keep your credit card no. in their file) and took the balance amount (the fireplace cost was $600 and the company charged me another $600 for installation, which they were not successful in doing + taxes). I have called their Manager a number of times and although he promised me he will look into it and send someone to look into it, he never returned my calls nor sent anyone. Be very careful while doing business with this company. Another handyman slotted the unit nearly in its place by tinkering around and making some adjustments - so don't depend on this expert company.

Stopped in at Friendly Fires to pick up some pellets for my stove and came out with a BBQ. Just in case anyone out there is looking for a BBQ you should know they have many different models to choose from. The staff is very knowledgable and set me up with my very first ceramic cooker. I am very excited because now I can go in to pick up my pellets and my charcoal in one place.
